Scholarship applications are due May 15th for awards the following academic year. Scholarships are awarded to begin in the following semester. Recipients are notified no later than July 20th.
Charles R. Eason Book Scholarship
Undergraduate and Graduate eligible. Must have a 3.0 GPA and maintain a 3.0 GPA to qualify and retain $500 per academic year.
CSU Graduates Eligible (applicants must have completed an associates, bachelors, or master's degree at Columbus State University). Applicants must be active donors to the Alumni Association. Applicants must be admitted to a degree program and have completed a minimum of three hours of study, with a 3.0 GPA. Award is $1,000 per academic year.
Roy Tanner Scholarship
The recipient must be an adult re-entry student, according to the university's definition of adult re-entry (a student returning to college five or more years after graduation from high school). The recipient need not be in the adult re-entry program. Applicants must have completed the equivalent of 30 semester hours of college study, with at least the equivalent of nine hours completed at Columbus State University. Award is $800 per academic year.
AFLAC Teacher Education Scholarship
The AFLAC Teacher Education Scholarship will award $2,500 per year to support educational expenses associated with enrollment in a teacher education undergraduate or graduate program offered by the CSU College of Education and Health Professions.
Kinetic Federal Credit Union/L.B. Hickson Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established by Muscogee Education Association (MEA) Federal Credit Union to assist their members by providing scholarships for school teachers who desire to pursue additional coursework beyond the baccalaureate degree in the field of education at Columbus State University. Award amounts vary from year to year.
Mildred H. Hollinshead Memorial Scholarship
Awards funds each year to an undergraduate or graduate student to support educational expenses associated with enrollment in a Teacher Education Initial Certification Program offered by the CSU College of Education and Health Professions. The amount of the scholarship award(s) will be determined annually based on the availability of funds and the number of qualified applicants. Priority will be given to African-American female students age 25 or older.
Richard L. Duncan and Frances M. Duncan Scholarship Endowment for the Physically Disabled
Awarded to an undergraduate or graduate student who has a physical disability documented by the ADA Office and who is majoring in a Teacher Education Program at Columbus State University.
Witt Family Scholarship
Awarded to undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing education degrees. Priority will be given to freshmen and upper classmen who maintain a 3.0 GPA. The award will cover educational expenses up to the cost of tuition and fees.

Rose Gutman Nursing Scholarship
The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial support for Columbus State University students admitted in the School of Nursing as a full-time FNP student. Funds may be used to cover expenses such as tuition, books, and other items necessary for a student's success and progression in the program.
Judge John S. Averill Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time graduate student enrolled in the MBA program with a minimum GPA of 3.3.
Linda U. Hadley Scholarship Endowment
Awarded to both undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a course of study in the D. Abbot Turner College of Business.
TSYS School of Computer Science Scholarship
The TSYS School of Computer Science at Columbus state University Offers two scholarships each year to graduate students applying for admission to the Master's program in Applied Computer Science or Cybersecurity Management. The award is $2,500 per semester for a maximum of two semesters. Award notification will be announced at the end of June.
Bill Chappell Memorial Scholarship
Purpose: To assist MPA students with tuition and books.

Purpose: To provide summer stipends/research funding for environmental sciences students. Awarded annually each Spring semester.
Carlton M. and Constance Johnson Scholarship Fund
Purpose: For full-time students at Columbus State University interested in the environment, whether working and studying in the field or writing about environmental issues. Funds may be used to cover tuition, fees, textbooks, room and board and other reasonable costs associated with obtaining a degree. Awarded to both undergraduate and graduate students.
The Prem and Neelam Virmani Scholarship
For full-time undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a degree in the College of Letters and Sciences at Columbus State University. Funds may be used to cover tuition, textbooks, room and board and other reasonable costs associated with obtaining a degree.

The AfterCollege-AACN Scholarship Fund supports students who are seeking a baccalaureate, master's or doctoral degree in nursing. Special consideration will be given to students in a graduate program with the goal of becoming a nurse educator, students completing an RN-to-BSN or RN-to-MSN program, and those enrolled in an accelerated nursing program.
